We are a close-knit, supportive and diverse community where each family is welcome.

Strong community connections empower us to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that prepares students for success in the real world.

FCJ College has an active Alumni. Our past students are an important part of our story and we aim to continue this connection past graduation to share and celebrate our great community.

Events and reunions

Members of the community planning to organise a reunion are encouraged to contact the College – we’d be happy to be involved and offer assistance.

Each year, the preceding graduating class is invited back to FCJ College for afternoon tea. This is always a great occasion for students to meet up with their teachers, talk about life after graduating and talk to students about how to make the most of their senior years.

If you would like to organise a reunion, have a tour of FCJ College and the FCJ College Archives, please contact Kristy Hanrahan – Community Engagement Officer at kristy.hanrahan@fcjbenalla.catholic.edu.au or 03 5762 1222

Keeping Connected

FCJ College has their own Facebook page. It’s a great way for past students to keep in touch with activities of the College and where we can post information on reunions and alumni news.

Many of our past students have made interesting and outstanding contributions to the community and country since graduating from FCJ College. These stories are inspiring to our current students. We are keen to promote news of graduations, post graduate degrees, awards or special notices, interesting travels or experiences.

If you are a past student, or know one, with an interesting story to tell please contact the College office on 03 5762 1222 or our College Archivist Mrs Lyn Tanner archives@fcjbenalla.catholic.edu.au

Benalla Regional Catholic Education (BRCE) was created to support and promote Catholic Education from Foundation to Year 12 in the Benalla, Euroa and Mansfield Regions.

The schools involved are FCJ College Benalla (sjbenalla.catholic.edu.au), St Joseph’s Primary Benalla, St Mary’s Mansfield (stmarysmansfield.com.au) and St John’s Euroa (sjeuroa.catholic.edu.au)

BRCE exists as a body participating and collaborating in the shared responsibilities of Catholic Education, School Boards, Councils and Principals and governance in the Benalla Parish.

Students from each primary school visit FCJ College to participate in student leadership days, school productions and other exciting events.
Staff from each school take part in a joint Professional Learning Day each year which also enhances the relationships between the four schools.

The Let’s Find Our Voice program is a wellbeing project that brings community members together with students from FCJ College to form a community choir.

This choir practises for eight weeks before performing a concert for everyone involved. The Let’s Find Our Voice program promotes a sense of purpose, altruism, and the character strengths of kindness and leadership.

FCJ College is committed to continuing the Let’s Find Our Voice concert and memoirs project into the future, as it brings joy and connection, bridging the generations for all who participate but also for the Benalla community.

As a highlight of the concert, FCJ College unveiled a special screening of “Forever Young,” a captivating film conceptualized and directed by Christine Knight. Chronicling the journey of a community choir, the film offers a poignant portrayal of the transformative power of music.
