2025 Athletics Carnival – A Day of Competition & Companionship

Our annual Athletics Carnival for 2025 was a huge success, filled with energy, enthusiasm, and incredible sporting talent on display!

Students from our three houses — Davy, D’Houet, and Hughes — came out in full force, showing amazing school spirit and friendly competition throughout the day.

A big shoutout to our incredible Sports Captains, Barney and Irish, for their outstanding leadership in rallying teams, keeping the energy high from start to finish, and, of course, treating us all to an esky full of Zooper Doopers. Thanks to their efforts, participation was at an all-time high, with so many students getting involved and giving it their all.

We’d also like to thank the fantastic students and teachers who kept everyone fueled by running the BBQ and ice cream stand — you were amazing and kept the crowd happy and well-fed all day long.

The atmosphere wouldn’t have been the same without DJ Shaun Jones, whose music, event schedule, and witty commentary kept everyone pumped and entertained throughout the day.

From sprints to relays, long jumps to novelty events, the track and field were buzzing with excitement. The day ended on a high with the Girls & Boys Victoire, where Charlotte and Connor wowed the crowd with stunning wins in their races.

After a full day of competition, D’Houet emerged victorious, racking up a total of 674.50 points to take home the trophy and bragging rights for the year!
