2025 FCJ College International Women’s Day Breakfast

On Friday, March 7th, 2025, our school community gathered for our annual International Women’s Day breakfast.

It was a morning of inspiration, empowerment, and unity as we celebrated the incredible women who shape our lives and communities.

The event was a resounding success, with a full house filled with students,staff, and guests who came together to honour this important occasion. The delicious breakfast, provided by Goldhammer Catering, set the perfect tone fora morning of meaningful conversations and reflection on the strength,resilience, and achievements of women worldwide.

The highlight of the event was hearing from our four Alumni guest speakers. Each of them shared their personal journeys, valuable insights, and words of encouragement, leaving a lasting impact on all attendees. Their stories reminded us of the importance of perseverance, kindness, and inclusivity, inspiring everyone in the room to take action in their own ways.

Following their speeches, a Q&A session was held, allowing our Year 12students to engage with the guest speakers directly. This provided a unique opportunity for students to ask questions, seek advice, and gain further inspiration from the experiences and wisdom of our esteemed alumni. This year’s theme, "Accelerate Action," emphasized the need for swift and decisive steps in addressing gender inequality.

International Women’s Day is more than just a celebration—it’s a movement. Let’s continue to uplift, support, and empower one another, ensuring that future generations inherit a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
